Katy began her career after graduating in 1982 from Arizona State University with a Liberal arts degree in Interior Design and a minor in textiles. She has been in the industry for 38 years. In the beginning, she had worked for several independent designers, acquiring vast knowledge and experience in residential interiors.
In 1990, Katy later went to work for a large commercial office interiors firm. Having worked there for 13 years as a showroom manager, she then went on to become a new business development salesperson. Katy started her own small business called Red Rock Fever Designs, named for her love of Sedona, Arizona. Her specialty became in home staging and residential remodels.
Katy worked with brokers from Aqua Real Estate for several years, becoming their preferred home stager. Aqua has always been on the cutting edge of real estate by perfecting their practices, offering years of trusted professional experience. “I could not have been more ecstatic when they asked me to become a Listing Coordinator.” In her off time, she enjoys cooking, designing, touring wineries around the state, and has a big passion for gardening. “My dream is to have our home entered in the West Seattle Garden Tour.
